We help you plan for the baby inside of you!
Maternity ServicesFor single young women, experiencing an unplanned pregnancy is something that they just never thought would happen to them. Some will hear the message "Just have an abortion and no one will ever know". For those who believe and follow that message, they suffer in silence. They are never told about the feelings of guilt and grief, not to mention the physical and medical complications that often occur after an abortion. They are never told that an abortion can negatively affect their ability to have children in the future. For those that are able to have children in the future, it can negatively impact the health of their children. Some will hear the message "You got yourself into this situation and now you have to be responsible and raise this baby". They feel pressured into parenting, either by their parents, members of their church families, and even their friends, even though they are often not prepared or equipped to parent a child at this time in their lives. Others will see the light at the end of the tunnel by either identifying and receiving the necessary support and resources needed to be a single parent or by creating an adoption plan for their baby. If she chooses to parent, resources will be explored and obtained in order to assist her in being successful in her desire to be the best parent she can be. This may include support from her family, from the baby’s father’s family, from her church family, and/or from the government through various available programs. Not everyone is comfortable with receiving assistance from other sources nor does everyone believe it is in the best interest to parent. Creating an adoption plan and lovingly placing her baby with an adoptive family of her choice allows the birthmother to do something good for her baby, for herself, and for a couple who has decided to create their family through adoption. Although the process is an emotional one, it is rewarding for everyone. The birthmother has peace of mind knowing that she gave her child the family that she was not able to provide at this time in her life.
